Smart letters
Ask for one letter. The others it needs are ready too.
School, camp, work and clinical letters drafted from the visit, on your practice letterhead. When one letter implies others, like the nurse, the form and the note for the parent, SmugMe has those companion letters ready beside it.

Letters, not paragraphs
Other AI tools write paragraphs. SmugMe writes letters.
A general AI assistant
Starts from a blank prompt, answers in free-form prose, and can fill a gap with something that sounds right. Someone still has to check every line and reformat it.
SmugMe letters
Start from the visit, use only what the visit and the chart support, mark anything missing for the provider to fill in right on the letter instead of guessing, and carry the provider’s attestation and signature.
Every letter a visit creates
School, camp and daycare
Excuse letters, participation notes and the forms schools ask for, with dates carried over from the visit.
Work and employers
Work notes with the dates and restrictions already filled in from the encounter.
Clinical correspondence
Referral letters, updates to other clinicians and care summaries written from the same understanding of the visit.
Letters to families
Plain-language summaries and plans the family can keep, matched to what was discussed.
Companion letters
When a letter implies others, those are drafted too and marked as suggested, so nothing waits for a second request.
On your letterhead
Each letter uses your practice letterhead and the provider’s signature block, so it is ready to print or send as it is.
Questions
Why isn’t a letter instant?
Because it is prepared for a signature, not for a chat window. A few extra seconds buys a letter your provider can sign as it is.
What happens when information is missing?
The letter leaves a clearly marked blank, and the provider fills it in right there on the letter before signing. SmugMe does not fill gaps with guesses.
Does SmugMe send letters by itself?
No. Letters are drafts until someone at the practice reviews and sends them, and the provider signs clinical letters.
What if we do not need a suggested letter?
Dismiss it. Suggested letters are there to save a second request, not to add work.
